Longer Pump named a Little Giant by Chinese government09-28-2023

Demand for healthcare is growing fast. As global populations get older the need for better testing, diagnosis and treatment is increasing. In China alone, there will be 400 million people over the age of 60 by 2040, almost double what it is today.

In August, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recognised
Longer Pump for its innovative approach to solving some of these global challenges. Longer Pump has been named a‘Little Giants’, a term used to describe small to medium sized companies that are contributing to economic growth and investing in innovation. Currently, the company has more than 41 patents with research centers across Shanghai, Baoding and the United States.

China aims to develop 1 million innovative small and medium sized companies (SMEs), 100,000 SMEs that specialize in niche sectors and 10,000 ‘Little Giants’ by 2025. Longer Pump is in a unique position to support China’s national priorities outlined by the 14th Five Year Plan: providing healthcare solutions for an aging population.
